Chapter 1 - Jennifer E

On page 54-55 of The Sixth Extinction an Unnatural History it’s states, “The theory of natural selection is grounded on the belief that each new variety, and ultimately each new species, is produced and maintained by having some advantage over those with which it comes into competition; and the consequent extinction of less favored forms almost inevitably follows.”(C) This connects to how people compete in schools and sports and how each competitor have a sort of advantage.The theme is Natural systems change over time and space. As the system change over time to the new environment they start adapting and developing new characteristics.
